There are rumors about a handheld version, because there has been a listing for a Maxis job, regarding working with a handheld console, for Spore
Believable? - 80-90% - The job listing can be found here, so it could well be very true that we will get Spore on a handheld version.
An Xbox 360 Spore Version
This rumor came about, because an Xbox executive let slip that Spore could (/would) be an innovative game for the 360
Believable? - 75%. There is evidence for it (see here), but the chances of a game like this being easy to play, and successful on a 360 is low. Update: Eric Todd has confirmed that there are no plans for Spore to be released for consoles
